What does the chart show?
Read candles and compare movement in context. A rising candle describes what happened; it does not promise what happens next.
What did your order do?
Separate an instruction from a confirmed fill. “Working” and “filled” describe different states, not different spellings of “bought.”
The chart went up. Did you buy anything?
Imagine a practice platform with these two messages:
- Order: WORKING
- Position: 0 HELD
You have a waiting instruction, not a held position. A moving chart is not proof that your order filled. That distinction is small enough to explain in a paragraph and important enough to practice.

The foundation track is designed to help you explain a candle, choose between order instructions, identify a held position, calculate an example loss and review whether a decision followed its rule.
You also practice what happens when the plan does not produce a winner: an order remains unfilled, an exit fills worse than expected, or the correct decision is to skip. Those are part of learning—not optional fine print.

Before you choose a course.
Is this a day-trading crash course?
The foundations include short-term trading mechanics and futures examples. “Crash course” describes a focused starting path, not a shortcut to reliable profits or mastery.
How much experience do I need?
None for the foundation lessons. Start with the vocabulary and worked examples; repeat an exercise before progressing if you cannot explain it yourself.
Does it teach every market?
The core uses futures examples. Chart vocabulary carries across markets, but stocks, forex and futures have different execution and risk details. A dedicated complete stock track is not currently included.
