More than one path
Study a losing branch alongside a winning branch. An example that can only win is not a useful rehearsal.
Review the decision
Calculate from the actual example fills, include costs and compare the decision with its original rules. A win does not excuse breaking them.
A strong review can end with “I skipped it.”
You recognize a familiar chart shape, but one required condition is missing. The next move later looks attractive. Was skipping automatically a mistake?
Read the reasoning
No. Evaluate the decision using the information and written conditions available at the time. A later move does not retroactively supply the missing condition. Record the skip, then review whether the rule itself needs more evidence—not a convenient exception for this one chart.
Build from mechanics, not mystery.
If order status, stop fills or dollar risk are unclear, start there. A sophisticated setup name cannot repair an incorrectly understood order.
