Understand the cost
Read data, software, account and transaction charges in the current terms. “Free chart” does not automatically mean every needed feature or market feed is free.
Practice and recover
Check what simulation models, whether data is delayed and what happens when a connection drops. Learn where official support and emergency procedures are documented.
The platform audition.
In a supported demonstration or simulation, locate the following before doing anything else:
- The label proving which account and mode are selected.
- The exact instrument and contract, plus the displayed time zone.
- The order list, including unfilled quantities.
- The position panel, including quantity already held.
- The documented process for checking account state after a connection problem.
If a feature is unavailable in the demo, mark it unknown instead of assuming it will work differently after payment. This is a comparison exercise, not a request to open or fund an account.
One screen test beats a hundred feature badges.
Your practice chart displays a marker where you clicked. The order list still says working and the position is zero. Do you treat the marker as evidence you own a contract?
Check the reasoning
No. The order and position state do not show a held contract. An annotation or pending-order marker is not proof of execution.
